Multiservice Platform - May 2013 Release

In May this year, DIGITALK released a new update to the DIGITALK Multiservice Platform (262). As usual, this includes a large number of minor enhancements, and also included the following new capabilities:
- Extensions to the Web API. The Web API enables customers to build their own web site and provisioning interfaces to the DIGITALK Consumer Platform, particularly for customer self-care. The new extensions support updates to user CLI / ANI management, dialthrough configuration, and username / password changes. When applied to a self-care portal, these features enable service providers to let their customers set up their own registered phones and dialthrough configuration.
- Carrier Platform Reporting Integration. Customers using both the Multiservice Platform for consumer services and the Carrier Platform for carrier interconnect routing, now benefit from integrated reporting across both platforms, so that business reports can present margins between consumer service revenue and carrier interconnect cost down to each individual call.
- Payments. The DIGITALK Multiservice Platform supports integration with multiple payments service providers, and offers an API to enable service providers to configure their own payments solutions. In the latest release, Worldpay has been added to the list of standard payments service provider interfaces supported by the platform.
