Digitalk Announces Agreement to Be Acquired by Hansen Technologies

Acquisition brings together global leaders in communications technology, with decades of innovation, providing expanded capabilities, complementary solution portfolios — and building on shared values.
The transaction is subject to regulatory approval but is expected to be completed by December 31st 2025.
Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, 6th November 2025. Digitalk, a leading provider of cloud-based software-as-a-service solutions for communications service providers, today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Hansen Technologies, a global provider of software and services for the communications, energy, and utilities industries.
Founded in 1971 and headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, Hansen is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX:HSN) and supports more than 600 customers in over 80 countries from 25 offices globally.
Under the terms of the agreement, Hansen will acquire 100% of Digitalk, integrating Digitalk’s award-winning, real-time MVNE as a Service and carrier wholesale products into Hansen’s global portfolio.
A Strategic Milestone for Digitalk and Its Customers
This acquisition represents a major milestone in Digitalk’s 25+ year journey as a trusted partner to MVNOs, MNOs, and wholesale service providers across more than 30 countries. By joining Hansen, Digitalk gains access to expanded resources, a broader global footprint, and complementary product capabilities that will further accelerate innovation across its platform.
“This is a proud moment for Digitalk,” said Justin Norris, CEO & Founder of Digitalk. “For more than two decades, we have focused relentlessly on delivering carrier-grade platforms that enable our customers to launch, operate, and scale communications services with speed and confidence. Becoming part of Hansen will allow us to advance that mission even further, bringing our technology and expertise into a global organisation that shares our commitment to reliability, performance, and customer success.”
Strengthening a Shared Vision
The combination of Hansen’s extensive BSS/OSS product suite with Digitalk’s real-time communications and MVNE/MVNO-enablement capabilities will create a more comprehensive offering for customers seeking end-to-end digital transformation. Digitalk Carrier Cloud — the industry’s leading platform as a service for wholesale voice — will similarly benefit from the shared vision, supporting the growing community of wholesale carriers that leverage its comprehensive feature set and unrivalled performance.
Digitalk’s existing customers will continue to receive uninterrupted service and support. Over time, they will benefit from enhanced innovation, deeper product integration, and the backing of Hansen’s global operations.
Looking Ahead
Together, Hansen and Digitalk will be positioned to help communications providers accelerate growth, modernise their technology stacks, and compete more effectively in digitally driven markets worldwide.
Completion of the acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
