TouchTone extends its Broadband Telephony portfolio using DIGITALK
TouchTone, a leading provider of advanced telecommunications services in South East Asia, today announces the successful launch of its Broadband Telephony services through the use of DIGITALK's Consumer Platform.
Using DIGITALK, TouchTone will be one of the first Service Providers in the region to offer a Broadband Telephony service to both residential and business customers, based on existing commercial successes. Touchtone have undertaken a significant level of market and customer research to ensure that the new service builds on a clear understanding of market needs. The newly introduced Broadband Telephony service enhances their existing portfo lio, which includes Inbound and Outbound Telephony services, Partition Services, and International Pre-Paid Phone cards.
Ho Lang Hiang, Business Director of TouchTone, commented, "The DIGITALK solution provided us with an integrated and scalable solution, which allows us to upgrade, as our business continues to grow. DIGITALK also understands the financial pressures that affect start-up operators, and its pricing reflected our needs over the longer term."
Established in early 2006, having obtained Services-Based Operator license from the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, TouchTone first introduced a prepaid calling card service in Singapore. It now offers a wide portfolio of services that help both individuals and businesses to maximise the benefits of the latest telecommunication solutions using a DIGITALK platform at the core of its network.
Mark Ashdown, Director of Sales and Marketing concludes, "The successful launch of this service is testament to DIGITALK's ability to provide a secure and stable platform for operators to provide alternate voice and data services to its customers."
Now with a well-established network platform, TouchTone is moving quickly forward to become one of the most important communications hubs, serving the surrounding South-East Asian countries, with customers from across the region and wholesale services for other carriers planned in the near future.
