DIGITALK Broadband Telephony Solution Deployed by talkXtra

DIGITALK announces the deployment of both its Broadband Telephony and VoIP Trunking solutions with talkXtra, who provide a rechargeable prepaid account through Post Offices in Ireland and the United Kingdom.

talkXtra will be using the DIGITALK Broadband Telephony solution to offer a new range of value-added voice services to its growing customer base. The talkXtra Broadband Telephony service will use embedded features such as voicemail and customer web self-care as key differentiation, rather than relying on price, and will incorporate pre-paid models to ensure that customers can control their spend.

talkXtra will also be using DIGITALK's VoIP Trunking solution to allow interconnectivity to a greater diversity of carriers, which will both improve call quality and offer significant operational savings. In addition, the VoIP Trunking Solution allows talkXtra to offer services to carriers in other countries for the transit of call traffic, as part of talkXtra's geographic expansion strategy into both European, North American and Australian markets.
